“B” a John Hay Star by Giving to Support Kids with Tutors & Educational Programs
Every child should have the opportunity to get the educational support they need. The John Hay Elementary School community is working hard to ensure that all children have access to the tutors, educational programs, and assistance they need to be successful. Currently, John Hay has over 550 students enrolled and we are overcapacity. We look for our community to help support where baseline educational funds fall short. Additional teachers, tutors, enrichment programs such as art, drama, and music are critical to provide a well-rounded educational experience. A surprisingly large number of children in our community require access to clothing, food, and supplies. With help from you, we can provide the support all these children need.
Here are some of the ways the John Hay Foundation has assisted children at John Hay Elementary School with the donations received:
- Funding three teaching positions at John Hay Elementary School for the purpose of providing academic support to students in need.
- Funding Math & Reading Tutors that serve up to 80 K-5 students, ensuring they get the educational assistance they require.
- Funding multi-arts program that enriches the lives of all learners no matter what their family’s economic situation.
- Helps children and families in need receive access to clothing, food support, supplies, extra tutoring and basic needs.
With a $15 gift, you can help give children the tools they need to be successful in school.
